NEW MUSIC CAMP! A music camp for older kids looking to improve their performance and singing skills. Bring a song or two to sing (submitted to the instructor in advance), spending the first hour studying the songs like a masterclass. There will be a half an hour of theory teaching young singers how to read and analyze music. After a short break students will listen to and sing music together and learn a piece with harmony (as in a choral setting) to practice singing with other people. Students will listen to music from different time periods to practice hearing and taking in a variety of music. Grades 5-8.
