ABOUT YPTW

Young People’s Theater Workshop (often referred to as YPTW) is in its 34th year of educational theater programming! YPTW offers experiences in creative drama and performance. Starting with a given theme, each age group works with a director to create, rehearse and perform an original script. These unique scripts meld together for a fun and exceptional show. Most mornings, students also attend theater arts and dance classes. Past Young People’s Theater Workshops have included such themes as Making Waves, Something Wicked this Way Comes, Passages and Break Down the Wall(s). The Young People’s Theater Workshop culminates with performances for the public. YPTW is a tuition based educational theater program.
