At the Northfield Arts Guild, we offer a diverse range of visual art classes to inspire creativity and enhance skills for all levels, for which you can pre-register. Whether you are exploring the world of ceramics, figure drawing, canvas making, or painting in our guided sessions or enjoying the freedom to create in our open studio sessions, we provide the space, equipment, and guidance to support your artistic journey. There are classes for everyone at any level of experience and age!
Weaving Workshop
January 10th, 17th, 24th, and 31st
Experience the joy of weaving during this weaving workshop series! Learn how to work with a new and exciting medium. Explore a variety of weaving techniques, and experiment with texture, color, and pattern. Whether you’re looking to craft something specific or simply try something new, this class offers a relaxing, creative space to build skills and express your artistic style. All materials provided—just bring your curiosity!

Cookie Decorating Class
February 7th, 10:00 AM-12:00 PM
Get hands-on in this cookie decorating class where you’ll learn the basics of icing and design. Perfect for beginners, this class is a fun way to relax, get creative, and leave with beautifully decorated (and delicious) cookies. Learn different techniques such as outlining, flooding, wet-on-wet and more!

Color and Composition Through Collage: A Series
April 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th
Explore the expressive power of color through hands-on collage and mixed-media techniques. You will investigate color relationships, balance, contrast, and visual rhythm while learning the fundamentals of composition. Using painted papers, found images, and a variety of textured materials, participants will experiment with layering, cutting, and assembling to create dynamic, original artworks.
