The Guild is home to exciting music programs. Cannon Valley Regional Orchestra has been delighting audiences across the region as an orchestra of volunteer musicians for over 40 years. The 411 Concert Series pairs regional and national touring musicians with local opening acts on the Guild Theater’s intimate 118 seat stage.
Live From the Guild Theater is a series of 30-minute live monthly concerts streamed to you from the Guild Theater between January and May, 2021. This concert series, organized by Ray Coudret, in collaboration with Guild staff, provides a platform for accomplished area musicians to share their music with their community. This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Southeastern Minnesota Arts Council thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts & cultural heritage fund.
411 Concert Series
2020-21 is the ninth season of this fabulous series which features regional and nationally-recognized artists in the intimate venue of the Northfield Arts Guild Theater and offers a truly unique listening and viewing experience. Each concert opens with a local musician.
Cannon Valley Regional Orchestra
The Cannon Valley Regional Orchestra (CVRO) was founded in 1979 by conductor Paul Niemisto as a program of the Northfield Arts Guild. CVRO is a diverse group of volunteer musicians performing symphonic music, drawn together by our love of rehearsing and performing this fine repertoire. Anyone with talent, experience, and motivation is welcome to join us, from exceptional twelve-year-olds to octogenarians.
