UPCOMING OPEN ART DATES
SATURDAY April 24 – Live art making between 10 am -12pm
Join us from 10am-12pm for fun art activities. Come for the full two hours, or drop in as you like! We will start a new project every 40 minutes:
10 am- Negative Space Art- You will need white or light colored paper, a pencil, and black marker, pencil, crayon, oil pastel, or paint.
10:40 am- Shave Cream Marbled Paper – You will need white paper (heavy weight watercolor or multimedia paper is best), shaving cream, food coloring or liquid watercolors, a baking sheet or shallow tray that will fit your paper, aluminum foil or parchment paper, a large spoon or spatula, a plastic scraper (an old credit card or piece of folded cardboard will work)
11:20 am- Plastic Bag Printing- You will need white or other color paper, a few plastic sandwich or freezer bags, acrylic or tempera paint, an old pencil or wooden skewer or popsicle stick, a foam roller if you have one, but not necessary.
