Become a Guild Member!

The Northfield Arts Guild relies on your support to help make our programming in music, theater, visual arts and arts education possible. Beginning September 1, 2026, we have modified our membership to a tiered-structure model.

Membership is built as a “pay what you can” model. We don’t want cost to be a barrier – all are welcome here!

Our members are our  supporters, volunteers, artists, teachers, students, donors… People who believe in the power and impact of the arts; People who see the Guild as an outlet for expression and a space for belonging. Our members make art happen!

If you are a member, you support us because you believe in what we do. If you believe in what the Guild can do.

What’s the difference between a member and a donor?

MEMBERS
Membership is a two-way relationship. When you purchase an annual membership, you are directly investing in our day-to-day operations, and in return, you receive tangible benefits as a stakeholder in our community.

What it does: Membership dues provide a reliable, predictable baseline of funding that keeps our doors open, lights on and staff supported.

What you get: Besides a more vibrant Northfield and arts programming for you, you will receive occasional deals on tickets, the ability to sell artwork in the gift shop, access to the Open Clay Studio, the member newsletter, invites to member socials and can attend our annual meeting.

The experience: You are an active participant enjoying the fruits of your support.

DONORS
A donation is a one-way gift. It is a gift above and beyond membership with the benefit that you are making a difference in the community.

What it does: Donations are more directed toward specific high-impact needs – like funding for new initiatives and access to more people in the community.

What you get: While donations do not come with benefits like members, they are 100% tax-deductible.

The experience: You are fueling the growth and longevity of the arts for the community.

Why This Change Matters
By creating two impactful pathways (Membership and Donations), we can better serve you and more effectively sustain our operations. This provides the Guild with predictable, sustainable revenue so we can keep doing what we do best: keeping Northfield culturally rich and vibrant.

What This Means for You
Whether you see yourself as a Member, a Donor or proudly wear both hats, your role in our story remains vital.

Our Promise to You
Every dollar from a membership or a donation creates more access to the arts for people in Northfield and keeps our city vibrant.

*Please note that our processing platform does not allow changes to reflect the correct and clear verbiage to distinguish between “donations” and “membership”. When you click this link to become a member, all references to “donations” in the amount, frequency, recognition, and notes section refer to membership. We apologize for this inconvenience.
