Call for Video Art:
Projected Video Art on Sept. 19 and Oct. 3!

This fall we will host two events in which custom, locally made video art will be projected on the Riverside wall of the Guild’s building on Division St. Apply now to help us transform the back facade of the Northfield Arts Guild building into a living canvas, projecting custome artwork in a public, community-facing celebration.
In general, for this joint application, we will be prioritizing local and regional artists, emerging artists, and artists of color.
We are seeking up to four artists per event to join light artist Brian Skalak of Second Sight Visuals, who is leading the projection mapping element of this event. Selected artists will each receive a stipend of up to $250 upon completion of their work on Sept. 19th and Oct. 3rd, respectively.
This is a joint application (for both Sept 19th and Oct 3rd), and it will be open until September 7th.
No projection or projection mapping experience is needed!
This project was made possible by funds from the City of Northfield’s Art in Public Places Program.
These events are a part of the larger Rice County Fall Festival, which is funded in part by the MHC Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund that was created with the vote of the people of Minnesota on November 4, 2008.
