Call for Artists: Guild Printmaking Exhibition, April 14 – May 14, 2022

The Guild will present an exhibition showcasing printmaking works. There will be an emphasis on the history of printmaking in Northfield as well as representation of current printmaking artists.

Eligibility: Open to all emerging and established artists ages 18 and up, living within a 70 mile radius of Northfield who work in the Printmaking Medium.

This exhibition will be multi-artist and will show in our Main Gallery, divided evenly among participating artists.


Submission Requirements: Artists must be prepared to show work created within the last two years that is consistent with the artwork submitted in their proposals. All submissions must include the following:

  • Artist’s Statement (PDF or Word)
  • Image List (PDF or Word), and
  • 6-8 JPEG Images (see Image Submission Requirements).

Image Submission Requirements: Submit 6-8 JPEG images representative of the work to be exhibited.

Images must be emailed or shared digitally via an online sharing site (Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.) Images must be 300 dpi and no larger than 1200 x 1800 pixels (4×6 inches). Image titles should be formatted as follows: Image #_First initial_ Last name_Title i.e.; 1_A_Renior_Altitude

Image List: Along with your images, you must provide a corresponding image list that includes the title, date, medium, dimensions, and price of each work.

Return Of Submissions: Materials submitted for the Call for Printmaking Artists become the property of the Northfield Arts Guild and will not be returned.

Acceptances: This exhibition will combine individual submissions together for a small group show (4-6 artists). Accepted artists will be sent an acceptance letter, exhibition packet, and contract.

Sales: All exhibited work must be available for sale. The Northfield Arts Guild Commission is 40% on all items sold. Price list must include the Gallery’s Commission.

Delivery and Pickup Of Artwork: Artists agree to deliver and pickup their artwork in person on the dates outlined in the artist’s exhibition packet.
