Krisi Lillie: Tiny Impressions

In the Guild Members Gallery. This exhibition features oil paintings by Krisi Lillie which explore the landscape of Southern Minnesota.
Artist Statement:
Tiny Impressions reflects my interpretation of the natural beauty that surrounds us, providing endless compositions to paint. I am especially intrigued by the moods of the clouds. My primary focus is to portray nature in a whimsical, semi-abstract fashion as opposed to a more literal depiction. I reach this goal by selecting a creative color palette which I apply with a painting knife to generate movement, texture, and a modicum of whimsy.
