Topic for January 25: Websites for Artists
You asked for opportunities to grow as artists, and we listened!
This conversation will focus on an overview of what to consider when building a website for artwork. We are pleased to announce that performing artist and design expert, Wendy Placko will be on hand to present and answer questions.
The conversation will cover:
- Planning/Audience Consideration (What do users need to do on your website?)
- Building a Website (What solutions exist for building my own website? How much can I expect to pay someone to build it for me?)
- Search Engine Optimization (What besides your website is supporting your web presence?)
- Monitoring/Updating (How can you evaluate if your website is successful at helping users perform the actions identified in planning?)
During this conversation attendees are welcomed to ask questions, and discuss their experiences, tips and ideas with the group.

This is a time (every 4th Thursday from 6-8 pm) for emerging and professional artists to gather in a small group setting to discuss topics relevant to visual artists.
