Join us at the Northfield Arts Guild Theater on June 24, 2017 for a screening of all six episodes of Lady Parts, a locally created and produced web series. The series was written and directed by Wendy Placko in collaboration with principal castmates. Production was supported by a SEMAC Emerging Artist grant, which was awarded to Wendy in 2016.
The goal of the series is to take on the subject matter of relationships between women: social situations, friendships, competition, belonging, alienation and more. Characters engage in these topics with a feminist approach, all in a comedic and satirical tone.
This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Southeastern Minnesota Arts Council thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts & cultural heritage fund.
