The Northfield Arts Guild is accepting proposals for classes for our Summer 2016 term (June 6-August 29)! Come join us as we provide quality arts experiences and a “place to play” for people of all ages in the Northfield community. New teachers are welcome!
Deadline for class proposals is 6:00 pm on Friday, February 5, 2016; proposals must be submitted via email to office@northfieldartsguild.org or mailed/dropped off at the NAG offices (304 Division St., Northfield, MN 55057).
Things to consider:
- Classes may be one-time only classes, run the whole term, or something in between.
- Class content may be in any art area (visual arts, clay, dance, theater, music, literary, etc.), for any age group, and for any level (beginner, intermediate, or advanced).
- While all proposals will be considered, the NAG is especially interested in receiving proposals for:
- week-long day camp options for youth
- literary arts and creative writing classes (all ages)
- one-time “try it” type classes
- Instructors can choose a flat-hourly rate or choose an “enrollment-based” pay option (more students = more money!)
- Not all class proposals may be accepted due to scheduling, space availability, and other factors.
- NAG staff will review each proposal and work with teachers to create the best possible scenario for making your class successful!
- Download the class proposal form and class policies and guidelines for more information.
- Know someone who would make a great arts teacher? Forward this email onto them!
