Free Workshop: Preserving Your Artistic Legacy
Join with fellow artists and supporters on Thursday, June 14 at 6 pm in The Guild’s Art Studio for a free workshop Preserving Your Artistic Legacy. This panel discussion will address considerations for both artists and collectors for determining how your life’s work is preserved for the future, including how to document your artworks, determine values, and make strategic plans for gifting/bequeathing your artworks to individuals and institutions.
The workshop will be led by panelists Jane Becker Nelson (Director, Flaten Art Museum), Mary Griep (Professor Emerita, Art History, St. Olaf College), Jonathan Reppe (Attorney, Reppe Law Office, PLCC) and Guild Executive Director, Tim Peterson. This special workshop is free and open to the public, made possible by a grant awarded from the Bruce Kramer Collaborative Foundation.
