2016 marks the fourth season of this popular local event. The Northfield Gypsy Jazz Jam Series consists of four separate jam sessions, each led by professional musicians who offer demonstrations, tips and techniques throughout the evening. Musicians of all instruments and abilities are invited to join in the jam, and music charts are projected on the wall so everyone can follow along. The 2016 series culminates with a grand finale concert at the Northfield Arts Guild Theater featuring dazzling Dutch violinist, Tim Kliphuis, and renown Minnesota guitarist, Sam Miltich, as they tour the Midwest introducing their new “Duets” CD.
