Topic for May 25: The Business of Art
You asked for opportunities to grow as artists, and we listened!
This conversation will focus on an overview of points artists should consider when launching a business with their art. These points include: key questions to ask yourself about your business, how to identify your ideal customers, identifying where to sell, taking payments, tax considerations, legal considerations, etc.
We are pleased to announce that Barbara Zaveruha will kick off this conversation with an overview of her knowledge and experiences based on her successful business, Prairie Creek Pottery. After this introduction, the rest of the time will be for attendees to ask questions, and discuss their experiences, tips and ideas with the group.
