“One of my favorite artistic subjects are old barns. Their intrinsic and archaic beauty stimulate memories. Like an arthritic old man, old barns sigh and moan, fit only to shelter mice, skunks, owls, and pigeons. Their fate has been obliteration by fire or wood rotting fungi. All that’s left is the foundation. My paintings are oil on canvas in an attempt to preserve those memories.”
