Free Informational Workshop
Tax Planning for Artists
You asked for opportunities to grow as artists, and we listened!
The Guild is pleased to announce that performing artist and licensed CPA and CFP, Ann Etter will present and answer questions in the important topic of taxes. Ann has a long history of participation in and support of the arts. She has lived in Northfield for almost 25 years and has been closely associated with the Guild for most of that time. She specializes in personal and small business income tax and non-profit reporting. She has seen a variety of artist clients over the years, from those who dabble in the arts to those who support themselves primarily with their art. As a former teacher, she is interested in helping others understand their business finances and taxation, to enable them to make better business decisions and to decrease the anxiety that often attends tax issues.
This free informational session will focus on an overview on advice and tips for artists including:
During this presentation attendees are welcomed to ask questions, and discuss their experiences, tips and ideas with the group. After the hour-long group presentation/discussion, Ann will be available to meet individually with up to ten artists for 5-minute mini-sessions.
