The Interplay of Color & Shape
Have you ever wondered what goes into creating a quilt? This month, artist Carol Richards will show her quilts and talk about the inspiration behind her designs. She bases her quilts on traditional blocks and geometric forms, deconstructed and layered, their axes often rotated to add interest. She will bring a quilt in progress and demonstrate how she selects which fabrics to use, and how she plans out her designs. This Lunch & Learn will include time for questions from attendees.
