Call for Art – Projection Artists
On the evening of July 4, 2026, between approximately 9:30 PM and midnight, we will celebrate America’s 250th and transform the back facade of the Northfield Arts Guild building into a living canvas, projecting custom artwork in a public, community-facing celebration.
We are seeking up to four local or regional artists to join light artist Brian Skalak of Second Sight Visuals, who is leading the projection mapping element of this event. Selected artists will each receive a stipend of up to $250 upon completion of their work on July 4th.
This application will be open until June 24th. No projection or projection mapping experience is needed.
We are not searching for any theme in particular, please submit whatever you think is best!

La noche del 4 de julio, 2026, entre aproximadamente las 9:30 PM y la medianoche, Celebraremos el 250.º aniversario de Estados Unidos y vamos a trasformar la fachada trasera del edificio del Northfield Arts Guild a un cuadro vivo, proyectando obras de arte en una celebración pública de la comunidad.
Buscamos hasta cuatro artistas locales o regionales para demostrar sus obras con el artista de luz y proyección, Brian Skalak de Second Sight Visuals, quien dirige el elemento de mapeo de proyección, o proyección mapping, para este evento. Cada artista seleccionada recibirá compensación de hasta $250 al completar su trabajo el día del evento, el 4 de julio.
Esta aplicación estará abierta hasta el 24 de junio. No se necesita experiencia anterior en proyección ni en proyección mapping.
