Discover, practice, and develop the basics of wheel-throwing including, but not limited to, throwing cylinders, bowls and plates, trimming and adding handles. Continue the process and learn about glazes and glazing. 6 weeks. Ages 14+

Students will polish and expand their skills in footwork ensemble, and choreography as they learn dances from Guerrero and Sinaloa as well as other classical dances from Mexico’s Baile Folklorico tradition. Students will develop body awareness, alignment, and posture while learning fun dances from Sinaloa and Jalisco as well as other famous dances from Mexico.  Shoes and costumes will be provided on loan for all children, as well as practice skirts for girls. This class is taught in Spanish and English. Ages 5 and up.
