Our Children, Our World features the music of esteemed Northfield composer Dan Kallman, who dedicates this concert to the celebration of nature, emphasizing the need to leave a livable planet to our children.
The first half will include compositions for children’s choir and solo performers. After intermission, you’ll be treated to Kallman works in a variety of styles, including jazz/pop/rock influenced music, some of which have never been heard before. The final pieces will feature current high school age singers joined by alums from the last two decades.
The concert features Northfield connected musicians and is sponsored by the Northfield Arts Guild. Local musicians extraordinaire Liz Shepley and Steve Jennings are co-producing this event.
