Les Misérables (school edition):  Victor Hugo’s classic novel comes to life in this Tony Award winning musical.  Jean Valjean, known as Prisoner 24601, is released from prison and breaks parole to create a new life for himself while evading the grip of the persistent Inspector Javert.  Set in post-revolutionary France, the story reaches resolution against the background of the June Rebellion. Epic, grand and uplifting, Les Miserables is an emotional masterpiece that has thrilled audiences all over the world.

Les Miserables School Edition has been abridged to a running time of just over two hours, while carefully maintaining the integrity of one the greatest musicals ever written.

Music by Claude-Michel Schönberg, Lyrics by Herbert Kretzmer, Original French text by Alain Boublil and Jean-Marc Natel.  Additional Material by James Fenton, Based on the novel by Victor Hugo.

Les Miserables School Edition is rated PG-13.  Viewer discretion is advised.

All performances of Les Misérables School Edition are sold out. 
Jumpseats (backless stools on the end of the aisles) and turned back tickets might be available at the theater box office beginning one hour prior to performance time on a first-come, first serve basis.
