FIXED film screening

September 24, 2015 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Screening of the film “FIXED: The Science/Fiction of Human Enhancement,” a documentary film produced and directed by Regan Pretlow Brashear. The screening will be followed by a discussion facilitated by Dr. Tammy Berberi, Associate Professor of French with an emphasis in disability studies at the University of MN, Morris. The film lasts approximately 50 minutes.

The event is free and open to the public, and is co-sponsored with St. Olaf’s Academic Support Center/Disability and Access Office.

Access accommodations can be requested by calling 507-645-8877.

This event is the first of two community conversations in the Arts Guild’s “Artists Disabling Assumptions” retrospective that celebrates the 25th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act and investigates its legacy in our lives.

This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Southeastern Minnesota Arts Council thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
