The July 23 Family Fun Day, happening during downtown Northfield’s annual Crazy Daze celebration, will feature:
- Animation Station with Peter Nelson*
Interested in animation? Want to try it yourself? Local artist Peter Nelson will facilitate a stop-motion animation workshop at which participants are invited to create a summer-themed animation. At the end of the workshop the animation will be projected for everyone to enjoy.
Peter will also screen an original animation based on the true-life story of his grandmother. He will demonstrate how the animation was made, exhibit miniature sets and puppets, and answer questions about his project.Come for two minutes or two hours! This fun and easy event is appropriate for kids (and adults) of all ages and requires no previous experience. - “KidsArt Trading Post”
