Variety Show to Benefit Guild

The Northfield Arts Guild is excited to present Vaudevesque, a variety show filled with well-polished acts, this September. The performances will be held on Friday, September 11, at 7:30 p.m., and Saturday, September 12, at 4:00 and 7:30 p.m. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Arts Guild.

Vaudeville Fun For a Good Cause

The show will consist of several short acts including music, comedy and dance. This is the second time that volunteers have collaborated on the show since its beginnings in 2013. Co-producer Ann Etter said of Vaudevesque’s inception:

“Two years ago Shari Setchell thought it would be fun to do a variety show. There are so many talented people here and we all have songs or dances we wish we could do but there isn’t always a venue. She asked Michelle Drenth and me to help and Vaudevesque was born.”

Supporting the Guild

Vaudevesque is an opportunity for volunteer performers to share some unique talents and entertain audiences, all while acknowledging the good work of the Northfield Arts Guild. “We are so lucky to have an active and vibrant arts community in Northfield,” said Etter. “The NAG helps bring artists of all types together, providing opportunities to share our work, to socialize, and to reach a wider audience.” Invite your friends, get ready for fun and make this entertaining event a memorable part of your Defeat of Jesse James Days weekend!
