MORNING

It’s Rhyme Time in the Clay Studio Clay Camp (grades 1-4)

It’s a new rhyming theme each day for the projects we’ll be building by hand using a variety of basic techniques and simple tools. It will be so much fun to make a fox and a box, or a frog on a log. Each day will bring a new rhyming creature and an object to delight the participants. This class is offered through Community Education. Register for Clay Camp!

AFTERNOON

Sheep + Suds = Cuddly Buds and Other Treasures Art Camp (grades 1-8)

Using wet-method felt making, we’ll turn wool of all colors into balls, bags or even little animals.
Time: 1:00-4:00 pm

Sculptural Words Clay Camp (grades 5-8)

Students to will create a sculpted word using slabs of clay from research done throughout the week. We will start by looking at the value and meaning of works, the intentionality of fonts, and slab building techniques to create a decorative sculpture of a word or name of their choosing. This class is offered through Community Education. Register for Clay Camp!
