Guild Announces Resignation of Visual Arts Manager
The Northfield Arts Guild announced today that Heather Lawrenz has submitted her intent to resign as the Guild’s Visual Arts Manager effective May 31st. Heather and her family will be moving to Red Wing in the near future.
The Guild recognizes and applauds the vast contributions Heather has made to ensure the success of the Guild’s visual arts programs including a compelling and high-quality exhibition schedule in our Main Gallery, Up Gallery, and satellite community exhibition spaces around town. Heather has successfully offered artists professional development and networking opportunities in her work to elevate artists and their commitment to enhancing the work of building community. In addition, Heather has curated and managed a successful and inviting gift shop at the downtown Guild location to showcase local artists and to further invite community members into the work of the organization.
Heather has also been vital to a myriad of other programs and functions in the interest of smooth and successful day-to-day operations at the Guild. Heather is a contributor to our engaged community throughout Northfield as evidenced by her civic involvement and contributions beyond the Guild.
Heather will be missed in all ways and we wish her much success in the future. The position will be posted in the days ahead and we look forward to welcoming additional staff members to the Guild soon.
