DESCRIPTION:Young People’s Theater Workshop (often referred to as YPTW) is in its 31st year of educational theater programming! YPTW offers experiences in creative drama and performance. Starting with a given theme\, each age group works with a director to create\, rehearse and perform an original script. These unique scripts meld together for a fun and exceptional show. \nYPTW Session II: 9:15 am-2 pm Monday-Friday\, July 12-30\, 2021 \nPerformances will be held during the third week of each session of the program\, and may take place outdoors. More information on the presentation of these performances will be coming.

SUMMARY:Perfecting Performance Practice
DESCRIPTION:NEW MUSIC CAMP! A music camp for older kids looking to improve their performance and singing skills. Bring a song or two to sing (submitted to the instructor in advance)\, spending the first hour studying the songs like a masterclass. There will be a half an hour of theory teaching young singers how to read and analyze music. After a short break students will listen to and sing music together and learn a piece with harmony (as in a choral setting) to practice singing with other people. Students will listen to music from different time periods to practice hearing and taking in a variety of music. SUMMARY:Dance Theater Company Summer Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Let’s get together and dance in person! This summer workshop for youth and adults will include one to two pieces of choreography to be performed outside on July 17th. We will be meeting in our beautiful downtown studio to move and groove our bodies together with our fabulous dance community. All levels of ability are welcome to this class\, although some dance experience will be helpful. If you have little to no dance experience\, this will be a great opportunity to learn some movement and dip your toes into the unique\, artistically driven Guild dance program. Ages 12+.
