DESCRIPTION:Purple Door Youth Theater \nAuditions and Technician Interviews for ROBIN HOOD:\nMonday\, December 7\,  6:15 – 8:15pm\nTuesday\, December 8\,  6:15 – 8:15pm \nSign up for a 30 minute appointment by emailing rachel.purpledooryouththeater@gmail.com or by calling the Arts Guild at 507-645-8877. If Monday or Tuesday is not feasible for your family\, please check with the Arts Guild for an alternative audition time prior to December 7.\nA division of the Northfield Arts Guild Theater\, Purple Door Youth Theater is an educational theater company for young people grades 2-12.   Each Purple Door Youth Theater session provides both a full scale production and classes.  Highly qualified instructors teach acting\, technical and administrative theater lessons\, personal character skills\, and provide hands-on-theater experiences. Students are involved with every aspect of producing a show from Performing\, to Designing and Building\, to Marketing and Ushering.   Our Actors will be part of telling the story onstage\, and will be also involved in backstage training and work.  Our Dedicated Technician students are those who do not wish to act\, and are particularly interested in working extensively with elements such as scenery\, lights\, costumes and sound. \nPurple Door Youth Theater productions use professional\, family-friendly theater scripts.  This year’s show is Robin Hood by Ivey Award-winning Greg Banks…  a classic tale of good vs. evil\, trickery vs. heroism\, compassion vs. greed. With a sharp joke\, a sly jab or a deceitful attack\, this band of underground heroes rally for those who cannot. \nartwork by Louisa Lawler \n
