SUMMARY:The 18 Harmonizing Movements of Qi Gong
DESCRIPTION:The 18 Harmonizing Movements of Qi Gong are practiced in unchanging order. Each movement is a small poem that references an element of the natural world. The practice is done in silence\, guided by breath\, and cultivates an awareness of and compassion for all living things. The movements are: Waving hands to the lake\, Lifting arms to the mountain\, Swinging the rainbow\, Parting the clouds\, Silk floating on the breeze\, Rowing across the big water\, Raising the sun\, Gazing at the moon\, Wind rustles the lotus blossom\, Hands floating by like clouds\, Pushing the waves\, Scooping the ocean to look at the sky\, Dragon emerging from the sea\, Gentle dove spreads its wings\, Wild geese flying\, Windmill\, Walking on air\, Gathering in the fragrance of the earth. \n$10 per class (a portion of all proceeds will go to the non-profit project “Prosthetics for Ukraine”) \nClass Leader/Facilitator: Margie O’Loughlin
