The King’s New Clothes is the Project Purple Door touring production.
This is a delightful, funny re-telling of the Hans Christian Andersen story. The vain and childish king is duped by two schemers who convince him that they can make him a unique suit of clothes that is not only beautiful, but magical– it can only be seen by those who are honest. What will happen when the king is presented with his new threads? The King’s New Clothes is a funny and fast-paced parable about pride, delusion and human nature.
