We are excited to present this summer education programming, but it is dependent on arriving at a moment where gatherings of various sizes are deemed safe by the CDC, Minnesota Department of Health and you. Classes taking place are also dependent on enrollment – so please register! If for any reason classes cannot take place as scheduled, we will work with you to offer an online option, reschedule the program or refund you in full.

To register for a class click on the class name or session title. Completing the class registration page will create a shopping cart so you can continue to register for as many classes as you like! If you’re a Guild member, don’t forget to register and sign in to receive your 10% class discount on classes. If you’re having trouble with registering for a class, please visit the  How to Register for Classes Online page for more information and frequently asked questions.

ONLINE WORKSHOP! There never seem to be enough mugs in the cupboard or to give away to friends and family. Come to this “mug-a-thon!” In this workshop, you’ll explore different styles, mug balance and unique handles that fit the forms and feel great to hold. You’ll create lots of new hand-built mug forms as a group, maybe even inventing some new forms along the way!

This class will be held virtually! All materials will be available for curbside pickup. You’ll receive more information a few days prior to class.

We are thrilled to announce that our clay studio is reopening with limited capacity and availability beginning Wednesday, Aug. 5! This open studio is for experienced ceramic artists to come in and work. There is no instructor or studio monitor present, and strict safety and cleaning procedures will be in place.

All participants must read the new protocols prior to signing up for a time slot.

For the safety of our staff and other studio members, failure to compile with these protocols will result in suspension from Open Clay Studio. These protocols will be updated as new information and procedures become available – please review them regularly as you attend Open Clay Studio.

Punch cards include one bisque and one glaze firing, and use of the glazes. A 25 lb bag of clay is sold separately for $16/bag. Prior to coming to clay open studio, you must attend an orientation.
