SUMMER CLAY CAMP

An introductory clay course exploring hand building techniques and an intro to the pottery wheel. Guided projects as well as explorations of students’ own interests. Ages 6-11.

JUMPSTART SPRING

In this two-session workshop we will make ceramic vessels to welcome new sprouts and flowers. In the first session we will make a planter (or even two) to add color and life to your house or yard. In the second session we will make a bud vase and a tulipiere, a special vase for tulips (adaptable for other flowers too.) We can use any extra clay and your imaginations to make unique plant markers or garden guardians. Catch spring fever and join us from your home for this on-line workshop with your teacher/guide, Marion Angelica. Designed for youth 14+ and adults.

CLAY ORNAMENT WORKSHOP

Learn how to make ceramic ornaments using clay and cookie cutters! In this workshop led by Glynnis Lessing, you will learn how to roll, cut and decorate your own custom clay ornaments using a two-tone decoration process called Sgrafitto! This one hour workshop is suitable for all ages, and will be fun for siblings or the entire family. We recommend a parent or sibling assist any youth under age 8.

BOWL-A-THON

There never seem to be enough bowls in the cupboard! Or to give as a gift this holiday season to friends and family… Marion Angelica will guide you in exploring different styles and shapes that feel great to hold. Come to this Bowl-A-Thon to create new hand-built bowls! Online class, supplies provided.
