With the Northfield Public Schools’ decision to cancel all after school activities, including community education classes, the Guild is canceling classes and open studio at least through the end of spring break, March 30. We’ll be in touch about makeups or partial refunds on a class-by-class basis, to be determined at a later date. Thank you in advance for your understanding and patience. We will keep you updated on new developments as things continue to evolve.

If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Education and Volunteer Manager Megan Proft at megan@northfieldartsguild.org or Executive Director Tim Peterson at tim@northfieldartsguild.org.

The Northfield Arts Guild offers classes and workshops spanning a broad spectrum of the arts for people of all ages and abilities. Disciplines include clay, dance, theater, music, visual arts and literary arts, and include single day classes, multi-week courses and summer camps. You can always find a class that will enable you to grow and learn new skills.

Classes are offered during three sessions each year – fall, winter/spring and summer. Last year we offered 130 classes for 470 enrolled individuals.

Our teachers are certified art educators, professional and experienced artists, and emerging teaching artists. We also offer programs with partner organizations around town like the Northfield Public Schools Community Services, Northfield Public Library, Healthy Community Initiative, FiftyNorth and more.

Our class fees are competitive with the local market. Scholarships are also available, as we strive for everyone to have access to our class offerings.
