Sjocase Hats
My name is Lana Sjoberg, aka Lana Banana or The Hat Lady. I was born in Wisconsin, grew up in Minnesota and went to the University of Minnesota for Costume Design. When my sons were two and five years old, (28 years ago), I began making hats for them. People began asking me for their hats….and the rest is history! My trademark is the applied fabric scraps and pieces on my original, mostly one-of-a-kind designs. In recent years, I have created sculptural pieces like animals, (lion, goat, frog), birds, (owl, parrot, eagle), and very specific people, (witches, pirates and a troll), still wearable, but art pieces for your head
