The Guild’s Artists Professional Development program offers artists opportunities for networking and career development throughout the year. Past and ongoing events include Studio Visits with area artists, Lunch & Learn events exploring artistic practice and socially/culturally relevant topics, Panel Discussions & Lectures (i.e., writing an artist statement, applying for a grant), free or affordable access to Professional Services (i.e., documentary photography, tax preparation), and Artist Mixers at Northfield area establishments. Artist Development Workshop Series 2022-2023:

Join us on Feb 16th at 6pm at Red Wing Arts Clay & Creative Center in Red Wing, MN as we present a panelist discussion with Q&A on the topic “Making A Living As An Artist”. Panelists will include polymer clay sculptor Layl McDill, ceramicist Sue Pariseau, and tattoo artist Gabby Maravelas. This workshop series is in collaboration with Paradise Center for the Arts in Faribault, MN, and is funded through SEMAC (Southeastern Minnesota Arts Council) – Don’t miss it!
