A monologue writing and performance festival
In this time of physical distancing, SOLOS is a festival for anyone to participate from wherever they currently are.
We placed a call for regional writers to submit original monologues, and were thrilled to receive over 40 submissions! From these submissions, a panel conducted a blind review of all entries and selected 12 monologues to be cast, filmed and shared with the public.
SOLOS was originally planned to be produced in August, but given the strong response and regional need for fall theater programming, SOLOS has been rescheduled to be the Guild’s premier fall theater offering. The monologues will be shared with our audiences in October!
Our congratulations to the following writers for their selected works:
Funereal Practice or Is This Really What You Had in Mind
You Told Me
Romance & Sister Mary Monica c. 1943
My Grandmothers’ Voices

Something In My Hands
