COVID-19 SAFETY STATEMENT AND PROTOCOL
Keeping our audiences, artists, staff, and community safe is vitally important and remains our top priority at the Northfield Arts Guild. As of April 12, 2022, and in light of the improving conditions with the pandemic and relevant variants, marking at the Guild is now recommended, but not required. Ticketed events still require proof of Covid vaccination. Thank your working to keep our community safe!
The Guild will continue to rely on guidance from city, state and federal entities including the CDC and MDH to inform our continued response to the pandemic. As guidelines continue to change, we will keep you updated on our policies and you can find additional information here. All ticket sales will include information about our vaccination requirement and other events and gatherings where there are no tickets will have website, in person, and social media reminders.
Thank you in advance for helping to keep artists, staff, and our entire community safe and well.
Thank you for your cooperation.
Peace and Equity
The Guild is committed to a Minnesota where peace, equity and kindness prevail and we stand with our community in demanding justice for the killing of George Floyd and in actively rejecting racism and oppression. While the Guild has long been a platform and advocate for all voices within our community, after 60 years our board and staff acknowledge we can and must do better. We recognize we have the power to break the mold and make systemic change to increase equity, diversity and inclusion in every aspect of our organization. We recognize real change will take time, that we have a considerable amount of work to do, and this work will be long-term, ongoing and collaborative. We accept that responsibility and will work as an organization to reflect the values we aspire to live by. Our organization is in the midst of creating a three-year plan to envision the Guild of 2023 and beyond, and we invite your feedback for how we can do better in reaching full equity, diversity and inclusion. What does a community art center of the future look like to you? Let us know at office@northfieldartsguild.org. We will follow up with more ways to share your critical feedback in the weeks and months ahead, and to keep you posted as we move toward our collective goals. We are excited for all we can continue to build together.
